During this period, Jamaica saw an impressive 16%
increase in total visitor arrivals compared to the Warm regards
previous year. This growth was fuelled by increased
cruise passenger traffic, with key ports such as Hon. Edmund Bartlett, CD, MP
Montego Bay, Falmouth, and Ocho Rios driving
performance. Our strategic investments in port
infrastructure and enhanced tourism experiences
continue to attract world-class cruise lines and
discerning travelers.
The cruise sub-sector contributed significantly
to our record-breaking total of approximately 4.2
million visitors in 2023, positioning Jamaica for
another remarkable year of tourism expansion.
