Highlights from Tourism Awareness Week 2024
J
amaica Vacations Limited (JAMVAC) was
pleased to join other Jamaican Tourism
stakeholders to observe Tourism Awareness
Week (TAW) 2024, observed under the theme
"Tourism and Peace: Out of Many, One Love."
The week featured initiatives emphasizing tourism's role
in fostering cultural unity and youth empowerment.
Key highlights included a Youth Forum in Montego
#DoGoSee Falmouth Bay that provided young leaders with a platform to
discuss innovation and skills development in tourism,
Outdoor and JAMVAC’s church service and brunch held at Family
Church on the Rock and the Montego Bay Convention
Center, respectively.
Adventures Ltd Jamaican tourism stakeholders at all levels were happy
to host events which helped to amplify the global UN
theme, "Tourism and Peace," showcasing how tourism
